Twenty-One Pilots Sues Temu
Twenty-One Pilots filed a lawsuit against the Chinese online marketplace Temu for selling fake versions of their official merchandise. The band's lawyers included dozens of photos showing counterfeit t-shirts, mugs, posters, and other items being sold on Temu for much cheaper than the real versions. For example, an official shirt that would run $35 was being sold on Temu (or, an exact copy was being sold) for just $7.54. The band says these fakes hurt their brand and confuse fans into thinking there's a connection between them and Temu. Their lawyers called Temu "one of the most unethical companies operating in today's global marketplace" and a "swamp of illegal products." Twenty-One Pilots wants the court to stop Temu from making and selling fake items and is asking for up to $2-million in damages for each fake trademark. This follows similar lawsuits by other artists like MF Doom's estate against the same company.

Gene Simmons Says He Learned Humility from Ozzy Osbourne
While many of us are still mourning the loss of Ozzy Osbourne, Gene Simmons is right there with us. On David Duchovny's podcast "Fail Better", he shared the life lesson Ozzy taught him . . . HUMILITY.
Quote, "There was a unique human being, a giant, who, no matter what anybody said, was always Ozzy and treated you and the next-door neighbor exactly the same. 'Hey, how are you? Nice to see you.' No airs about him.
"It's a good lesson for idiots like me who sometimes, guilty as charged, get full of themselves and say, 'Wow, I'm Gene Simmons.' And if you would have met Ozzy, you're on your best behavior. You try to, because he's a big deal."
Gene added, quote, "It is important to meet somebody like Ozzy who is just himself . . .
"Strangely, the real Ozzy is supposed to be the Prince of Darkness, and yet in the shows, he blows kisses to the fans and goes, 'I love you.' He was a giant."
